Infrastructure Division

The Infrastructure Branch of Unibep SA deals with the comprehensive implementation of road works, including services related to the development of land and execution of engineering works. The department utilises cutting-edge technology, operates its own road and bridge works laboratory and possess an extensive equipment and transport base. We are the leader in road construction projects in the Podlaskie Voivodeship. In 2020, we expanded our operations to new regions: the Lubelskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeships.

We focus on projects related to the construction of district, provincial and local roads. To date, we have constructed roads primarily for local governments in the Podlaskie and Mazowieckie voivodeships, but have also worked for the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways and the District Road Administration in Białystok. In recent years, the group has built up its competences and won several contracts for the construction of expressways (as part of a consortium or as a subcontractor). Of note here is our consortium with PORR SA, where we acted as the contractor responsible for the construction of the S8 expressway on the section between the Poręba junction (junction not included) and the Ostrów Mazowiecka bypass.

Due to the unstable situation on the border with Belarus, in December 2021, the Ministry of the Interior and Administration announced a tender to select companies that meet the government's criteria to the highest degree, in particular have experience in the construction of linear engineering structures, possessing their own equipment and staff facilities. The consortium of Unibep S.A. and Budrex Sp. z o. o. was awarded the contract for the construction of two sections of the barrier with a total length of 80.7 km (section 3 – 36.70 km, and section 4 – 43.97 km). This is an important project from the perspective of national security. The investor of the whole project is the Border Guard.

The Infrastructure Division of Unibep SA is part of Unibep Group, active in several segments of the construction market. It provides general contracting services in Poland and abroad (Unibep SA), implements broadly defined bridge construction projects (Budrex Sp. z o.o.), manufactures modular houses in the House Factory in Bielsk Podlaski (Unihouse SA) and engages in property development activities through its Unidevelopment company. Unibep SA is one of Poland's major construction companies with over 70 years of history, and has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2008.
